New models are now comparable with AI & AR mags. They also have a 6.5 Grendal.

I would say the Grendel if it didn't have a 22" barrel. Truck gun should be a little shorter. Too bad they didn't make a 6.8 in the Predator with an 18" barrel or a Ranch in a 16" barrel.

I'll see the Hornady/Ruger guys tomorrow at the Safari Club show. I'll ask them when these "hi-cap" rifles will start shipping

I really like that mark IV in camo. A lot a bang for the buck.

Hmm i'd sure like one of those in 6.5 Grendel, gonna have to see what the play money fund has in it.
What's dumb is that for about $10 on their end they could put a much better stock on those. But I guess that would cut into sales of their other models.

Just playing the devils advocate... would a $10 more expensive stock make a difference? Every synthetic stocked gun I own still wears its factory original "tupoware" stock and shoots great. I think people like to change the aesthetics and perhaps shape/style of a stock much more than they improve is function/accuracy when replacing a stock.

i put a bipod on one of those tupoware stocks. Then it shot a pattern instead of a group.

Partially the reason I ask is because mine all shoot fine with a bipod on.
