Carry concealed to a Funeral?

With all,of the “hugging” and embracing....last thing is I would want to do is for that unexpected person to be shocked.

I don’t see anything wrong with it. Bad guys aren’t terribly selective or respectful of particular occasions.

With certain families, I'd recommend it.

Way I see it worst case scenario it will give you something else to talk about... not a bad thing at a funeral.

I carry everywhere I legally can. But I pocket carry an lcp. Nobody would ever feel it if they hugged me.

Public places like funerals and churches for sure. That is where the crazies show up sometimes.

I'm getting to the point where I feel half naked if I don't have mine on me wherever I go...cell phone, watch, billfold, CCP, all the time. But I only carry a 9mm so I'm probably wasting my time.

You're not completely wasting your time, we can still put the little guys down with our 9's.

If you carry concealed, I would say that it should go everywhere you can legally carry it. It is there in case its needed and you don't want to find yourself wishing you had brought it with you. I think that most people who are rational will understand if you carry and they realize it while embracing you. Anyone who knows me would not be surprised and probably would not give it a second thought regardless of where we are.

Keep your arms low in any hug, the other person will go high and never notice you're carrying.

I would carry. People tend to go wheels off at funerals and weddings.

I don’t carry at places like that because of that. I carry b cause at some point I have to walk to my car in a dark parking lot. Or stop for gas etc...

I carry unless I'm drinking. If you drink at a funeral, then no, if you stay sober, carry.
