Based solely on looks, it’s basically a rifle version of the pmr handgun which I have heard good things about.

I had a PMR30 and it ran great..

Been toying with the idea of a semiauto 22 mag, since this has a threaded barrel I am VERY interested in trying one out... I will see about getting one

I have two PMR 30's and I really like them. There's something about having a magazine stuffed with 30 of those 22Mag cartridges that gives me confidence that I can take care of business with just about anything I run into on my trap lines. Thus far, I've taken 'yotes, 'coons, possums, a bobcat and two small hogs. (it ain't a hog gun of choice, but for putting the finishing touches on a wounded animal, they do quite well). I CeraKoted one of my PMR's; the other one I've never even shot. I think you'd be happy with either one of the choices you're looking at.
