Couldnt pass it up

This puppy is on its way home, just couldn't pass it up. A vintage Francotte boxlock w/30" steel barrels and 2 3/4" chambers. Even has the Greener crossbolt and intercepting/safety sears. Beautiful scroll and sculpted engraving. It will be a great candidate for a sympathetic restoration; refinishing the stock and recutting checkering, new recoil pad, and reblue the barrels. The action has a nice honest patina that will stay.

Aaron, what's the story with that shotgun? It looks amazing but I'm not familiar with them..

Sounds like TDK is person I need to call and ask about couple guns I have. Know very little about a old 12 bore Damascus muzzle loader and a 375 Kynoch double rifle.

This one will stay as a shotgun. I intend to take some ducks with it this season prior to doing any work on it.
