Remington R25-7-08 - 11/13/17 01:23 AM

I'm kicking the tires at this point...

In the market for say $1500ish post deer season

Anyone have one?

Yay/Nay

It's going to be a deer rifle out to 300 yards at the very max. Mostly likely under 200 yards. But I like the idea of a 7-08 in semi

they are heavy unless its a new G2 model slinger

Pretty much a DPMS Clone with Camo Still weighs 7.62lb plus scope & ammo & sling you will be pushing 9-9.5lbs Plus

they are selling on street in the $1200-1300 range. nice guns

I have one. They are on the heavy side, but boy does it shoot. 3 shots of Rem. 140 Corlocks in a dime size group at 100yds. Never had any problems with it. I bought mine used at Cabela's about 6-7 years back for $900.

The one that I tried about 3-4 years back would pierce and blow primers too often.

I wouldn't really look for one in that caliber unless your bolt guns are the same then it makes a bit more sense.

Plenty of other fish in the sea ~ $ 1500.00 in the AR10 market.....
