Gotta be the K frame .22. I carried it on every hunting trip and put thousands of rounds through it over the 37 years I've had it. My grand dad bought it in the 40's, shot a partial box of ammo through it and put it away. It was like new when I got it at the age of 17.

Nice set. I really like the look of the .38 with the grip adapter.

Love those K frames! Have a model 19 that I bought on my 21st birthday and a K-22 Masterpiece that my Dad bought when I was born.

Yeah, they're tanks. The K frame .38's worked for a living for close to 30 years. I shot the older K frame .22 who knows how many thousand rounds. Give a 17 year old a pistol and it's like other new things teen age boys discover, they try to wear it out but can't. Finally found the sweet spot on the sight picture on my new 617 after putting the Hi-Viz on. I wish I had known about the 617 years ago. I wasted a lot of time on auto loaders that are finicky about ammo. No disrespect to auto-loaders, just don't want that ftf when I'm wanting to put one in a rattler.
