I already asked this but cant find it. I got a slightly used 586 4" . the trigger breaks at 5lb single action. would like a better pull at 4#
smith&wesson is quoting 12-16 week turn around....not

Try backing off on the spring. 1 lbs is not much, I've taken them to 3.

You can also remove the hammer spring and reduce its width a bit to get a lighter pull.
