What is a Remington 1100 16 ga worth

What would a Remington model 1100 16 ga be worth. I dont have any pictures to post yet but I would say its in very good condition with no rust at all and only a couple of small scratches on the butt stock. 28" modified barrel? Thanks

Does it have a vent rib?

I don't think folks are as willing to fork over the bread for a 16 like they will for a 12 or even a 20.

You would be thinking wrong.. Especially if it has a vent rib barrel.

I have sold 3 of them this year..

#1- Used with non vent barrel $450
#2- NIB with Vent Rib barrel fixed choke $1600
#3- NIB with Vent rib barrel and Remchoke $1450

Side note- 870 Wingmaster 16 with vent rib and was completely NIB went for $2100 on GB around last summer. Completely lucked into that one.

Most dealers will snuff their nose on 16's and not bother with them which leads to most thinking they will not bring much. 16's have a hardcore following of people with fat wallets.

I think you would be speaking of collector guns, then. I've seen perfectly good 16s sit in the rack for months while 12s and 20s turn over like stacks of paper plates.

Thats why I listed a range from Collector guns to the basic $400 justa16. Browning's are even worse as far as the price spread.

People go for 12 and 20's because of plentiful ammo but it doesn't mean the 16's are worth less than 12's/20's. Just takes the right person to walk by it and notice.

$400 with rib, 300 without. The fixed choke is the biggest killer.
