Depends on what you want to spend. The geiselle triggers are the best out there right now. You would probably want the DMR or the SSA-E. Then you have drop in units like the timney or chip McCormick which are nice too. Then you have your basic two stage trigger, the rock river NM. I had the rock river in my coyote gun for a couple of years and thought it was great. Then I started reading about the Geiselle triggers and decided to buy one. One word....awesome. You can look at the application chart on their web page and it describes each trigger and it's preferred use in pretty good detail.

Yup! Get a Geiselle that is to your specifications and needs and never look back. I love my high speed match model.

Anyone have experience with the Rock River Arms 2 stage trigger? You can get that and a DPMS lower kit for less than a Timney or Giselle alone,.

The one I had was pretty good. IMO its the best stock trigger before going to the before mentioned triggers.

thanks sorry I did not read your post completely before asking my question.

I am building my first AR and trying to buy pieces one at a time to get the most bang for my buck.

The Geiselle triggers have the fastest lock time and are generally considered the best.

I shot a coworkers with the Geissele SD3G and fell in love, something about the flat profile and crisp clean break sold me.

There isnt any performance dfference it is only the looks. Some people prefer the thin trigger some prefer the skeleton. I really like the way the timney feels!!!
