M16-A1 Brake test
So I love my AK-74 and find it to be much more controllable than a M-16 A1, A2, or A3. semi or auto. So I took a Bushmaster 16" Hbar Chrome Lined, cut the barrel to 11.3" threaded to 14mm LH (AK-47) threads. We then added a 14mm to 24mm adapter so I could install a AK-74 Zig-Zag Brake. Now to be fair we did have a 11.3 SP1 Colt for comparison. I was amazed at the difference in muzzle rise between the two rifles. The AK-74 brake is a big winner in this test.
