Ran back down to the lease Saturday afternoon just to make sure everything was in good shape for this weekend. Cows had upended one of my pop-ups and ate the shoot through screens, but the worst thing was that feeder timer had reset itself again. I guess there is a wire with a bad contact that vibrates loose when the motor is running. I reset everything, and it will run for a little while before going out again, but I'm going to buy a new timer to install Friday afternoon. I'm looking for a digital timer that will work with 6 & 12 volt batteries and has settable, multiple feeding times. What are opinions on the best ones? Anyone used "The Timer"? Thanks.

"The Timer" is good, you can take it out of the timer box and program it because it has a cable with a quick disconnect. It requires AA batteries
I think. The one I have switched to is a timer from BA Products/Remington. All Seasons also is selling the same one. You can get them at Academy for $39. They work for 6/12 Volt, have 6 feeding times, motor speed adjustment and a battery gauge - a nice feature. Easy to program as well. Good luck.
