Nothing worse the an escaped bison calf/yearling that’s had cutters training horses off them. Damn near impossible to round up in open pasture, and barbwire fences mean nothing to them

Yep they use Buffalo to train cutting horses because the won't give up like a steer.
Fatten him up and will make for good eating.
