I’m not a fan of snakes, but I’ll take no legs over eight any day.

That being said, sometimes ya just gotta sit back and appreciate the marvels of nature. I think copperheads can have the most ‘striking’ colors in the woods. I played with this one for a little bit to show the boys and then sent it on its way.

I played with a large wolf spider the other day, fed him a cricket and let him crawl on me. No way I’m playing with a snake like that.

I would never leave a woods bomb for someone else to suffer from.

Always amazed at the green 1 1/2"-2" of the tail...and the way they will "buzz" their tail...acting all badazz like a rattler...nice snake. A broadband about like that one got me just above the ankle about 10-12 years ago...I'm still here...worked out badly for the snake, though...all snakes get a pass from me...I relocate a few venomous ones every year...

Fatty!!! Love these guys along with all venomous snakes. Now, if I was in the woods with them often, I would be much more wary.

This ones darker pattern would make a great model for gunstock Cerakote

Snakes don’t worry me anymore. At one time, years ago, my place South of Bowie was loaded with rattlers and copperheads wit plenty of cottonmouths in the creek and ponds. Had to watch where I walked.

Then the pigs moved in and I haven’t seen one in many years.

Copperheads are neat looking snakes. As long as they are on someone else's property.

Same in Freestone Co.
Last Sept. when I mowed (I brush hog just once a year) I saw way more rats than ever before. Darn pigs mad
