I drew first rifle 32 this year and have hunted 31 multiple times it is a hard hunt in the dunes not so much because of the animals but the people poaching with private land tags running around on the public is very frustrating. All the locals just bomb along with sidexsides and 4wheelers blowing out the good areas. I may pay for a trespass fee this year in unit 32 to hopefully not have 6 days of scouting and 4 days of hunting get wasted because of yahoos

I'm with an outfitter who has lots of private land access out there. I think he said there is some public land that is landlocked with private land that we will have permission to cross into. I've antelope hunted out there with him and know there are some deer

I drew a muzzleloader mule deer tag for unit 17 - starting Nov 1. I know that's a great elk unit but am seeing mixed reviews on deer.
Anybody have any thoughts on deer hunting unit 17?
