I went 0/6, first in a long time
Daughter drew a a deer tag though
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, b/c they know not victory nor defeat"- #26 TR

All red for me. Which is surprising since I applied for some of the easiest to draw units in the state. I am still 3 for 5 on apps getting drawn through the years.

Put in for antelope for the last 3 or 4 years with an outfitter....goose egg.
Texas needs to apply the same restrictions for our draw hunts for out of state hunters most western states apply to non residents.

2ND Rifle, Mule deer unit 37 Hard hunt but PM and I can give you some advice Talk to BOBO. That is a tough unit topography wise and lots of hunters. I drew 33 first rifle.

He drew Jemez Rocky tag Haha I wish. Drew a September archery tag for deer in a mediocre unit. Looking forward to the trip, will be the first out of state hunt and first archery hunt for my middle kid. Hopefully we can find a shooter buck or two.
