Pretty good deal. If I didn't already have a zebra skin from Africa I'd consider it.

Is there any challenge to hunting and killing a zebra?

Can't answer for one in TX but if Africa YES! Zebra are one of the favorite prey animals of the big predators and they don't stand still long. They keep on the mover, stopping for short periods to feed and there is always at least one on lookout duty. One hint of danger and off they go. That vertical black and white striping is also very good camo in brush. They can literally disappear behind a light screen of brush. I found them much harder to hunt than kudu, wildebeest, eland etc...

Reply by Lucky 7 Client..... I've hunted Africa several times where I've harvested 4 Zebra. Zebra run in large herds in Africa & on the 3,000 acre Lucky 7 Ranch.

Zebra in large herds translates to a lot of EYES ready to bolt at any sign of danger.....In Africa & on this ranch... no difference.

Once they spot danger they run... run...run... and run.. This is why I love hunting this ranch... Roy has several generation of Zebra born on the ranch... producing a quality hunt.
