I am looking for a good bang for the buck gravity feeder. I know the stuff from All Seasons Feeders is good but I might be able to save a little money going another direction.

Has anyone used this gravity feeder and have any feedback? The reviews look good.

Looks fine to me. But, deer will empty it in a couple of weeks in the summertime, you might think larger.

I like the looks of their 600lb timed protein feeder.

I think it depends on your acreage and if your deer live on the property or just pass through. I have 2 free choice right now because I’m on a small lease and use it as a attractant.

Would not recommend ASF free choice protein feeders.

Whats the deer population like? Ideally the protein is fed out completely from the feeder in less than 60 days.

They'll clog easily. Take a look at the Boss Buck lineup.

A protein feeder is very simple to make! I've used this one for 20 years! Hunted around Comanche and Goldthwaite for over 20 years and used protein pellets until I discovered STAMPEDE. a soy bean/corn mix made in Hamilton by Micobe Feed.
