Taking a short trip with my family in June to South Padre. Looking for a reputable day charter to maybe go bay fishing for reds, etc. Anyone have recommendations?

I’d call Parrot Eyes on the north end of the island. Several Captains work out of there, and after your trip the restaurant will cook your fresh catch. At Port Isabel there are guides at R&R Bait Stand.

Hard to beat Skipper Mock. Google him. He's out of Captain's Cove previously Parrot Eyes. Hector Torres, same marina.

Highly recommend Aaron Ciseneros. He was docked out of Parrot Eyes last time I was down there (They will cook your fresh catch into tacos and enchiladas). His number is 956-639-1941.
