Axis are almost finished growing out and will be ready to hunt soon. We will offer a handful of these hunts this year on our ranch in Freer, Texas. Hunts are fully guided and have lodging Avaliable. Lodging is also close to the ranch in either George West or Freer.

Ranch is 800 acres high fence with a great herd of Axis. Target bucks are in the 32-36" range. This herd has not been hunted since being added to the ranch a few years ago.

Cost is $4,500 per buck and $250/night/person for meals and lodging. Hunt is 4 days and 5 nights.

Arrive at noon the day before and sight in rifles. Hunt 3 full days and the morning of departure. These hunts will be fully guided with caping and quartering provided at no additional charge.

Non hunting guest are welcomed for $250/night.

Can shoot pigs and predators at no additional charge.

If you would like to add on a thermal hog hunt, we can make it happen. Thermal hog hunts are $500/person/night.

** If an Axis is wounded, it is the hunters responsibly and expense to pay for the use of a tracking dog. If guide feels that the animal is wounded, the hunt is over. **
