IPA/CJC-1295 is best sleep I’ve ever had. It’s a bye product

Oct 23 my back does what my back does and I was in a bad way. Everyone prior to this time I go to the dr and get a steroid pack. 3 days and I’m ready to wrestle a bear. Well your body eventually laughs off a steroid pack and this was my time. I was left with a battle between drs. [censored] dr. And butthole insurance companies. Days to weeks. Weeks to months. In that time it was a life of drawl out of bed. My wife help me dress and off to work. Come home lay down and do nothing. Turns out that lay down and do nothing was a big part of my problem. Either way one weekend i was at my worst. I was about ready to go to the er. I called my half hippie brother and had him bring me some of his home made gummies just so I could sleep. He was shocked as he knows I’m pretty proud of the fact that I’d never done any thing like it before.

I can tell you I was able to sleep. One night I got up to go to the bathrooom to pee and I’m pretty sure I hovered.

My mother also got relief when battling stage 4 cancer. She did not like the way the pain pills made her feel so my brother hooked her up. It helped with her appetite and helped her sleep.

I’ll never Lobby for recreational use of weed. But the fact that a dr can’t prescribe it for pain is beyond me.

Yes when we went to Colorado last two summers. Everything in moderation and temporary use. Helped an inflamed knee and my wife to get off sleeping pills.

Make sure you are taking the correct ones.

I don't take "real" (Delta 9) THC gummies, but I do take Delta 8 gummies every night about 2 hours before bed and I sleep like a rock. I don't sell them anymore but I bought like a 5 year supply before I let my license lapse.

It's your birthday...you might as well get on the ride rofl

Whatever you do, pay attention to what you are doing. What I mean by that is hour or so later do not think it's not working and take more. Take whatever and do not add more to it later in the evening. The gummies are a completely different animal and there is no way off that ride...different meaning, if you smoke it you can eat your way off a buzz (no pun intended) but gummies are not like that.

Best advice I ever got from a friend. I like them but can't risk messing with any of that stuff because of my job, so I don't.

One of the funniest videos I've seen is a black dude blown out of his mind asking why white people make their gummies so strong...

Found it: https://x.com/NicholeHiltz/status/1797675549705556284?lang=en

Proceed with caution grin

Any lingering affects after waking? I take 3mg of Eszopiclone (Lunesta) every night and want to get off it. Since it’s regulated, it’s become a pita to get and I still feel tired upon waking.

I can attest to no lingering affects for my wife who used THC/CBD gummies for a few weeks to stop those pills and then ceased the gummies over a couple of weeks. But she would have tested positive for drugs.

Ahh man you ruined all the fun. First time I tried edibles was some cookies my wife's friend sent her from CA. We both ate a cookie and didn't feel a thing after about 30 minutes. Her friend sent us 3 of them so we decided to split the last one. 1H later I was insanely high and you're right there is no getting off that ride, just got to ride it out. I never did edibles again until I started the CBD business and then I started out micro dosing to see where I needed to be and found my happy median.

Negative. Some of the "Sleep" gummies that have melatonin in them would kind of give me a "NyQuil hangover" the next morning, but the D8 don't have any lingering effects. I take 1.5 gummies (75MG) at 8PM and i'm dead tired by 10:45-11. Wake up at 6am refreshed and rested.

Yes, I also used them to get off pain pills after a tonsil surgery and again this January when I had elbow surgery. I hate the way pain pills make me feel and they wear off after 4 hours leaving a 2 hour window of pain. I switched to the gummies and could take as many as I wanted for as long as I needed them for the pain.

Yes, I take them regularly at bed time and they do help with sleep and pain. There is a particular brand call Wyld gummies and a flavor in Boysenberry. It has 10mg of CBD, CBN and THC in 1 gummy so I split it in half for myself and I sleep great. Feel good when I wake up too.

As Judd says, pay attention to milligrams and don’t take more because you don’t think they are working. Had a buddy who learned the hard way.

He use to call me all gakked out.

Thanks a bunch. I was trying to remember the name. That's exactly what my wife used successfully.

Not that I've heard of. You may have to experiment with dosage (1/2 is usually enough).

I usually take a sleep gummy but they aren’t THC.

A buddy handed me a THC carbonated drink (available at Pogo’s near lovers and inwood)

Great for the golf course if you’re just playing for fun.

Laughed a lot

Well, not exactly, depends on where you are. THC is illegal in Texas but not places like CO, NM, AZ. Gotta do your due diligence first.

Edit: Recreational THC is illegal, medical is legal in Texas

My wife tried them for sleep. She just took 1 but had a hard time getting off of them. Maybe she should have taken 1/2. It was CBD.

That is the general answer in Texas for non-THC products, unless you are approved for products that include THC. Or you can buy it with THC in neighboring states according to their varying laws. But the moment you cross back into Texas, you could get into different levels of trouble with the law.

We only ever bought some in Colorado when we were there during the summer and used them in that state for a limited time.

Texas Senate Bill 3 Is looming.

“Texas lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban nearly all forms of THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana.

Texas Senate Bill 3 is backed by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and seeks to tighten regulations around THC products sold in convenience stores and vape shops. Patrick first launched the bill in December, calling for the ban of all consumable tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) being sold.

The commercialization of hemp products with trace amount of non-intoxicating Delta 9 THC was legalized by House Bill 1325 in 2019, with the intention of strengthening Texas agriculture. The law allows the production, manufacture, retail sale and inspection of industrial hemp crops and products in Texas, granted that they stay at 0.3% or less delta-9 THC level. This also includes products for consumable hemp products that contain cannabidiol (CBD), as well as other edible parts of the hemp plant.

Patrick now argues retailers used a loophole to sell dangerous products to adults and children alike. State Sen. Charles Perry, R-Lubbock, wrote the bill and echoed this sentiment with the aim to "keep these unsafe products off our streets."

"If they are really honest with you, most of them will tell you without the THC products, they can’t be profitable, and so the gig is up," Perry said during Monday's meeting. "We’ve tried to let the industry regulate itself… they’ve proved they can’t, they don’t want to and won’t. It’s time to fix it."

I think that this bill is aimed more at taking control of What, Where, and How things are being sold before Texas Launches into Medical Cannabis.

It’s targeting the head shops. Both it and the expansion of medical cannabis are pending bills right now but SB3 has the best chance of passing. I believe I read where the governor has committed to signing it.

So the wife and I go to Colorado every summer. On a trip coming home my neck was killing me so we stopped and a cannabis store and got some gummies to try. We got home and that night I took one nothing for like around a hour so I took another never again I was paralyzed couldn’t even get up out of my chair I thought I was going to die. Its funny now and a great story but never again, never say never but for sure not two.

Part of the problem with the CBD you get in Texas is the potency varies a great deal from mfg to mfg. I don't think they regulate the strength very well. You can buy one product that advertises a certain ml and buy another labeled the same and they may be way different in terms of strength. Price doesn't seem to equal quality either. It does help some people sleep but it's a trial and error process to find the right product and the correct dosage for the individual.

Evidently gummies are a felony in TX…

I didn’t realize that…proceed with extreme caution.

Yea, any Delta 9 concentrate is extremely illegal in TX and a tiny amount is a felony. I’m specifically talking about Delta 8 CBD.

The real thing is penalty group 2. Even the smallest usable amount is a state jail felony. It’s referred to as THC concentrate. The CBD gummies that are commonly found in various locations are different.

I ordered Delta 8 gummies to help me sleep and they certain worked. I tried two one night and had bed spins...hated it but I did dream in incredibly vivid colors. At the time (and possibly still) the Delta 8 are legal in Texas. I think I'll order some more. The domestic warden did not care for them.

I don't take "real" (Delta 9) THC gummies, but I do take Delta 8 gummies every night about 2 hours before bed and I sleep like a rock. I don't sell them anymore but I bought like a 5 year supply before I let my license lapse.

What brand are they? I have had trouble finding some that actually work to put me to sleep. I found some once that worked but couldnt find anymore. I dont want delta 9. I just want to sleep.

I wouldn't waste my money if they aren't real THC gummies.

And even then, why not just smoke a joint?

When I renewed my medical use card in Oklahoma, the doctor asked how I ingested my THC, I told her that I typically smoke it and sometimes take gummies. She said that gummies was the healthiest way to consume. She was hard up about not vaping it, saying that there is study after study being published on how bad vaping is for you.

It's really interesting how the laws vary by state. Have we ever had such differences by state on something which could get you a felony? I cannot think of any.

Anyhow, no plans on needing any again. Hopefully won't need to.

Because I wouldn't have kept my job for 28 years if I failed a random drug test. Before we had randoms, we had a small group of unproductive, really weird people. Took about 18 months, but they all tested positive and were fired. They were losers. I Changed companies but stayed in the same industry and had to fill the cup as part of the background/vetting process. Wouldn't have been hired if I had THC in my system.

What about this for a minor drug first offense?

Put them in stocks on the town square for 3 days and allow citizens to throw rotten fruit & vegetables, spit on them, and call them names.

The downside is I'd probably want to go into town more regularly for lunch.

A THC gummy is a life changing conviction here. In the city a person might get deferred adjudication for it but not here.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Senate on Wednesday passed a state ban on all forms of THC, advancing a priority of Lt. Governor Dan Patrick to crack down on the state’s booming consumable hemp market six years after lawmakers inadvertently permitted its rise.
Current Texas law allows hemp-derived products that contain less than 0.3% of THC.

I am thinking about trying some.

I have had back pain for over 40 years that I have developed a tolerance for...I never let it slow me down. Unfortunately, now a new pain in my back is sending lightning bolts of pain and my hip is also starting to give me trouble.

In the past, I have been a hard no for legalization but now I'm considering supporting it for medical purposes.

We need some fresh eyes and minds in our Executive Department of the State. I am very conservative but I will not be voting for these current guys in the primaries.

I'm sure you've seen an Orthopedist. What is the diagnosis for this severe pain?

You have a pinched nerve most likely. Probably caused by a herniated disc. If you need an orthopedic referral let me know. I fought degenerative disc disease for over 2 decades before I did stem cell injections….

I had this sudden onset of pain like you describe, in the morning, while at the lease for several nights. Could barely walk to the mule deer set up. Like take your breath kind of pain. This went on for a few more days. Hmmmm.........what's different? Google, think about it.....My mattress in my bunk room had sagged, collapsed in the middle. It was an Amazon special. Threw it out, took a new conventional mattress next trip. I'm 100%, problem solved.

Gummies (30mg CBD/0.3% THC) have done more to relieve my arthritic lower back pain than either Hydrocodone or steroid injections.
