When you take off on a trip far and wide or just to shop in a neighboring town, are you carrying a gun of some sort? I just feel better knowing it is there. I have never had reason to use it to any degree, but I always keep it in the same place and try to be more aware than ever about what is going on around me. Just curious.

Better to have and not need than to need and not have. I have an LTC specifically for reciprocal carry when crossing state lines.

"Are you packing a weapon....". You can stop right there. The answer is yes.

I don’t carry, but if I’m in my truck, there’s a gun.

Glock 43X on my belt at all times.
Scoped, bolt action rifle is beside me at all times.
An AR pistol lives in the truck.

Hogs and coyotes is the main reason. But, if a two legged critter wants to start some trouble, so be it.

Yes, I keep mine for this reason and instant checks at FFL's. We just road tripped to Gatlinburg TN and had it on me the entire way, which I have it on me anytime I leave the house anyway, but it's nice to know I can hop across multiple stateliness with it and not have to worry.

I remember going to clubs in Dallas in the 80's, Like Amezia or Dallas City Limits off Northwest Highway always was some wanna be drug dealer and they were carrying and for some reason wanted to show off, I never understood why, maybe they thought it made them feel cool or maybe to try to impress the chicks.

I used to dove and duck hunt alot so I always found it kinda odd carrying a pistol to a nightclub, you ain't gonna do any hunting with a gun there.

I don't road trip much, but when I do yes, of course. To get around the air travel part I bought duplicate carry pistols and keep them in the locations I travel by air to the most.

I got my license to carry in 2011 but didn't consistently carry. i even thought people were strange who carried.

I started carrying consistently in 2020 when the world went crazy, always concealed, always there, ever since.

I recommend everyone do the same.

But before that at least two, usually four + between me, bride, and vehicle

The only time I don't carry is when I am on duty.

It is prohibited, by department policy. I've had a conversation with the Fire Chief about it. He's not budging.

I'm not there much anymore. I'm trying to use up almost all my time, and then retire.

when I get up and put my clothes on, I take my pistol from the nightstand and put it on my hip. As I work from home, I sometimes go days without even leaving the house, yet, the gun is still on my belt. Yes, I carry everywhere.

After seeing what I saw at work I always have a gun on me. I needed one for boars a couple of times last year and was thankful for my decision to always have one on me. In the city the two legged vermin are the problem.

I saw a statistic one time that most car accidents happen within 5 miles of home. Why? Because most people spend more time close to home. I'd bet that the need for a firearm probably follows the same trend.

I never leave the house on any trip without a firearm next to me. Never. I also pay way more attention to my surroundings anytime I`m getting gas or exiting my vehicle for any reason.

At some point we will likely make a road trip to the left coast - likely will be avoiding major cities but will always have access to my weapon - I don’t like the feeling that I am not doing things properly but I will get over it.

We will likely cross the border into BC to visit Vancouver but I will leave it in the hotel room (on the U.S. side) during that portion of the trip. Uncle Sam’s speech on good behavior while in a foreign country has stayed with me all these years later.

Yes. And like Kyle mentioned, it's fast and easy when purchasing something new.

I pray I never need it, but I refuse to be a victim.

I’m retired and we spend a lot of time on road trips. Often in adjoining states with the Judge handy interspersed with solids and .410 shells.

Glad to see Alabama changed their law. That used to be the only state between Texas and Florida where having a gun in your car was a problem without a LTC.

I flat refuse to go. I was supposed to go last month to Chicago, got that trip moved to virtual 🤣😂🤣.

Lucky the only international I’m really doing now is Mexico, although I’m not sure that’s really lucky or not. I say that I’d take Mexico City over Chicago
