At my house. Cleaned the pool, and now sitting on the patio eating hand cut French fries, and listening to some Conway Twitty, Gary Stewart, John Pardi, and Waylon Jennings. Life is pretty good!

Oops, can’t forget the great Jesse Colter!

Ahhh, Gary Stewart, from Pasadena Texas. The king of the honkeytonkers. A favorite of mine.

I’ve been slaving over the wife’s garden. A ton of garden soil, ran the tiller a bunch. Yesterday I took down two trees and chainsawed em up. And I noticed that the grass is growing.

^^^^^^

It certainly is. Just came in from mowing pasture for the last 5 hours.

Coincidentally, had two Gary Stewart songs on my Iphone (She's acting single and Drinkin' thing) that I was listening to.

We get Spring in June, I do envy yours but not all the weather associated with it.
It's 31° with a brisk NW wind right now here.

Enjoy, we have more snow coming next week so probably some weather coming for you all too.

Years ago we were at the Expo center in the Arena and Gary Stewart walked up and was hanging out. A youth champion bull rider commented that he liked Garys boots. They wore the same size and traded boots. roflmao

Chilly this morning, I have been bike riding before sunup this week in TShirt and SHorts temps in 60 before dawn.

Some Dogwood already have green leaves growing and some are just now blooming, I see a few baby rabbits about size of a rat runing around already.

I only remember one snowfall in April and it was early April and around 1987 time period.

Last year spring came early and kinda looks like it's gonna be a repeat this year

Saw a couple Fire Flies (aka lightning bugs) yesterday evening. Kind of early for them.

Turkeys are strutting in my yard. That’s typically a good sign it’s spring here.

My Yard Boy has started mowing on a weekly basis, Not really much to mow right now grass is still brown but I guess he got bored during winter.

I ran my irrigation system yesterday, looks like I am getting some green tints of grass in the yard this morning.

Been rather dry and windy, looks like more wind is in the forecast
