One of the many yearly garage sells going on next door and it I had to leave to do a pick up at HEB and this man has my driveway blocked as he shops. I blow my horn nobody does anything so I sit on it for a few seconds and then this guy waves at me and holds up a finger for me to wait a second, bad move on his part I sat on the horn until he left. I sure wish he came into my yard to discuss his driving habits but he didn't. It chaps my azz when people do this.

10 or so years ago, the house across the street from us got picked up after the owners left the state and then passed away. It must have been a second home for them because it was full of stuff. New guy was trying to flip the house and for almost two months did back to back garage sales to try and empty the house. After the third weekend in a row of having my driveway blocked by cars on both sides of the street, I started going out and taking down his garage sale signs. It didn't stop the traffic completely, but it sure reduced the number of cars parked in front of my driveway. The home owners association finally got involved and the garage sales stopped.

You're a patient man. I probably would have hooked up a chain and dragged it down the road.

The neighbors kid came down our road right in front of me and parked in front of my house. There was no one in front of their house. I hopped out and asked him to move as I was going to park there, in front of my house. He acted a bit bothered but moved his truck. His mom came out and said that she explained to him that was a bad move. I never thought of just laying on the horn, that always gets such a good response.

Previous house the neighbors punk kids friends used to park in front of my house when the whole street was open to park, including in front of their house. One day the punk parked right in front of my house and had his convertible top down. Bad luck for him as I used that day to test and realign my sprinkler heads! Problem rectified itself.

I had a broken-down car blocking my gate once. I called the sheriff's department but no one showed so I did a little forklift action and relocated it into the bar ditch.

An old buddy went out to his property to check his cows. Some guys parked in the gate and went in to do some fishing. He parked behind them then took his Ruger 10-22 in and started popping off rounds. They hauled ask. Came back with a Deputy. Long story short, they left, fishing tackle stayed there by the tank.

Best thing I ever did was move away from town... But now town is moving in on me..... It funny how fast someone will come out when you are pull a chain out and start hooking up!!!

This is what I told my wife almost 50 years ago when we were talking marriage. We have lived in the country since marriage. I was already raised in the country, but the problem now is the cities are swallowing up the country. luckily We should be able to finish our years before it happens.
