I'll consider trades or partial trades or trades with cash added by me for real estate in the general area or in Rockport or Port O'connor

Looks like it is in both DeWitt and Lavaca counties. I guess someone could take a buck in each of the counties although it is a small property.

I bought it mainly to develop but I saw more deer around that creek on the 25 acres than I did on my 1500 acre lease down the road.... lots of town deer that live around the creek brush.
there's about 100' of Dewitt county bordering isdale drive, but there is one gate coming in from DeWitt county and one gate coming in from Lavaca county.

Is it legal to shoot deer in the Yoakum city limits or would someone drop almost a half million dollars on a small piece of land just to look at them?

Like I said, I bought it to develop. I did not know it was in the city limits when i bought it, i only found out when i started talking to the city about the water taps and sewer line. not that it matters now, it actually makes it more valuable. i have dove hunted on it and had no issues. personally i would not rifle deer hunt on a place this small, anywhere. But lots of people do. i guess you could bow hunt as there are no ordinances about firing bows in the city limits. i was just making a comment about the amount of deer i saw. it would be up to city police officers (who said it was not in the city limits, when i asked them about dove hunting on it) if they want to give you a ticket for firearms discharge.
