Nice! Hopefully he'll delist their cousin the polar bear.

Man not sure about this.
Certainly could be worse but he's not perfect.
He was not liked by all up here as Director.

He will be good for wolf , grizz and other endangered species issues.

I don't know much about him. What is the local opinion?

For the most part glad to have him in that position but his time on the Wildlife Task Force was not looked at that favorably by lots of hunters.
Could do way worse though.
At least he has Western ties and had to deal with the endangered species act daily.

I hope he does good work.
Not sure he is ready for national fame and hopefully not infamy.

Delisted, they have surpassed the agreed upon recovery number by 4x, and densities are causing them to disperse into high probably human contact areas.

all the biologists have agreed they have recovered and should be turned back to state management, but PeTA people keep sueing to stop delisting. They found an activity Obama judge in Montana that reversed the delisting because no one had done a climate change effect study to his liking

Thank you for the feedback. We are leaving Fredericksburg in the middle of April and heading up to Wyoming for the long summer. I hope to be able to better understand all the ins and outs of the local ecosystem.
