We came home after yesterday evenings hunt. Only saw 1 doe and 1 coyote in 3 full days. The wind was brutal yesterday and figured it would be worse today. Oh well, we have two in the freezer and some leftover from last years 3.
May go back and try for a spike after next week as I need to fill feeders anyways.

Was gonna sit this evening.
Got to the place and went and got the water wells in order for the week.
Had the bow and hunting clothes in the truck, just didn’t have the desire to sit. I’m ok with letting the sun set on this season.
Got to the house and finished winterizing the homestead
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Sat daylight to dark in bow stand. Wind chill minus 11 at one point. I was prepared so not too bad. Tomorrow colder. Im hunting the next 10 days.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR

Beautiful buck! Well done both of you.  Heading out in a bit to drop off my pastor and two of his boys, then sit with my grandson and see if a boar I have on camera stays on schedule.  It's a tad brisk out there.
