The doe kept her distance (about like the picture) but the fawn walked right up to my daughter who stood there like a statue, enjoying the moment. The fawn walked up close enough that my daughter could have touched it. The mom doe was getting nervous and thumping the ground, I suspect that fawn got in a little trouble after they walked off.
