Hey folks!

I’ve recently been wanting to get out in the field to hunt for the first time. I’ve been an outdoorsman most of my life (I'm in my late 20s). I'm looking for some opportunities to go on a mentored hunt of some sort. I dont know anyone who hunts, so I dont have an easy option to find a person to learn from. I had gone hunting once or twice when I was a kid, but didnt end up taking anything on those trips.

Would anyone happen to have any recommendations for getting my feet wet in the world of hunting?

Im located in the Central Texas/Hill Country.

TWA Adult learn-to-hunt program. They have a hunt on my place each year.

Check out B-Tex Ranch on Face Book. It's my neighbor on the south end of my ranch. He does many cool hunts. He just finished wounded warrior hunts last week. He works with many organization for underprivileged hunts, first time hunters and the list goes on. PM me and I'll get you in contact with the owner. He loves to chat and I'm betting he can get you hooked up.
