Good for some, bad for others- skinny water flooded fields creates new feeds opportunities for hunters. I have 3 private holes- usually hurts my honey hole, but gets feet wet in new food in others- potentially good if acorns flooded in woods, but additional water does scatter waterfowl. Will see Sunday! My place in Fannin was down 4 feet, has gained 1/2 of that back w these rains.

Yes glad for the rain. It will be interesting to see how the season finishes out. Be damn near 80 degrees in ntx on Monday. Got a little cold front coming in new years but doesn't look like much, just bringing temps into average/normal range for this time of the year.
