Hello all!!!

I am thinking ahead for the end of the season and off season to figure out options to feed supplementaly, either cottonseed or some sort of protein or protein/corn mix. When I was younger we raised pigs for stocks job and it got me thinking about those single feeder self feeders we used and if something similar could be used as a feeder. Would I need to remove the plates that the pigs pushed up to eat or could deer learn to use them if I wired them open and slowly closed? Just a hairbrained idea, but curious if yall think it could work and how it would work best!!! Thanks for any feedback!!!!

You can just fab a cottonseed feeder out of some old field fence. Wouldnt overthink it.
