I let a buddy come out to take a doe off my place this weekend. I had a grainy pic of what looked like an elk cow that had been coming through occasionally, so I told him to take her if he saw her and we'd split it. 7am he calls me, "Looks like I got your elk." Wasn't the elk, but I'll happily take half of this one. What am I missing? How was that not the elk? I take that the OP was watching a different elk, not aware that there were two.

Well, i was thinking elk. My buddy was thinking elk. Processor thinks Red Hind. Now I don't know what to believe.my neighbor's ranch has both on their property, so it's feasible.
