Late yesterday in SE Throckmorton county and this morning in SW Young county. Prior to these, had not heard any shots in 6 sittings...

Cooler mornings and the end of the full moon have them moving a bit. Saw a whole lot of hunting rigs heading west on I-20 yesterday afternoon.

I never hear many shots where I hunt. Of course, Im almost deaf, so there’s that.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR

I’ve only heard one shot and that was the kiddo this morning. I sure haven't been seeing the amount of hunters on the road this year like I have in years past either.
