I did a search on this site, but didn't find much. I am looking to buy my son (11) and I a nicer harness than the ones we get inside the box when you buy a tree stand. Do you guys have any recommendations on one you like? There are several options to choose from it appears, just not sure where to start. We usually hunt in a 15' double ladder stand that I feel pretty safe in, but I'd like him to grow up using one, especially when he starts hunting alone.

I use a HSS harness. I like to wear it between layers so my bow doesn't accidentally clank off the buckles.

I believe this is the brand I have. I agree on the layers as bumping one of the buckles is very loud in the woods.
If he will be wearing a coat with a hood, you may have to make a slit just below the hood to slip the harness strap through to attach the carabiner too so it doesn't come out on the side of his face.
