Sunday morning we went to an area that has a lot of BBWD. We were not disappointed shooting 16 BBWD and 2 teal. The conditions were warm with a little breeze. BBWD are not real smart. They get in bunches and fly together so when the come right over flying slowly they are fun to shoot and with three guys in the boat hunting it rains BBWD on each pass. They are tough though. Often, they need to be shot on the water to finish them off. Good duck hunting.

Congrats. How do they taste?

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

You eat the legs on these tree ducks? They are as big as the breast. I have never seen one in NTX.

I have eaten the legs in the past but this time I cut the breast meat off of the bone and the wife is going to make a duck and sausage gumbo over rice. Very tasty!
