I have the entire week of Thanksgiving off and would like to get a young hog for sausage without breaking the bank. Not intetesred in a trophy or a old tough hog, just a meat pig. I am in deep south TX so am mostly looking for San Antonio and south. Anybody got anything along those lines?

Don't be afraid of an old tough hog. After they go through the meat grinder they aren't so tough any more. It would be a drive but I have some in east Texas that need gone. Several doe as well.

Check with local ag teachers. Probably a bit too early, but a lot of kids raising show pigs and you might find one that wants to get rid of an extra that isn't going to show.

Since I couldn't get any body to help me wifey and I had to shoot some. I killed five this season, wifey shot one. Saw several more but the guy I give the to said he had all he could use.

I wish you had hollered during hunting season. I had does for 175. some folks wanted almost twice that much.
