They are pretty good. Professional, courteous, clean. Family owned and ran. I used couple years ago and they donβt cryovac and some prefer that.

Ground in plastic tubes, other stuff in butcher paper. I used to use them and they do fine, I prefer to package my own these days.

They are great!
Absolutely my first choice for a if Iβm not butchering myself.
Place changed hands a decade or more or so ago and what an improvement.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

We took my buddies buck to Fishers opening weekend and no one was in the back butchering or collecting deer...it was a little odd. So after 10 minutes of waiting we went to Hess and they were very happy to have our business. Organized, manned, smillng. Cannot say enough about how great those folks are. I have used Hess in the past but for past couple years have been butchering, grinding and packing my own and I'm thrilled with the results.

Fischers gets so busy they sometimes don't have time to get to folks. Hess is great, as well as Fischers. They both make good sausage too, Hess might be more spicy than Fischers.
