Where do y'all take your deer quarters for processing? I know many do their own but not for me.

Never taken a deer there as I do my own, but lot of people use ye olde butcher shop in Plano off 15th st.

I’ve eaten there few years back., place is clean and food is good. Guy who worked there said they do a ton of deer each year.

I wouldn’t use Ye Old Butchershop. Last time I was there they stored the deer in a box truck and had an air conditioner to keep deer cool. Very dirty conditions too

You can try Hirch’s.

Never used them. I tried to use them for a red deer hind 3 years ago but they only process native species so I made the drive to Kubys.

I didn't think Hirsch's still did deer processing, I remember my dad taking our deer to him when I was younger.

I've taken many deer to Ye Ol' Butcher Shop in downtown Plano and have no complaints - they've been around for a long time. From my experience though, they get filled up pretty quick - my buddy took his doe there opening weekend and they turned him away bc they weren't taking any more deer that wknd. I'd call ahead if you are planning on taking one there.
