Leave for Chillicothe this morning for my father daughter hunt with a buddy who I grew up with his daughter. The weather looks "okay" warm, breezy with the Monster Moon above. Next week looks like THE week weather wise. Pre rut there now, bucks are kinda sniffing the ground looking for a hot doe. Does are getting that nervous, antsy feeling. Will be a blast no matter if we shoot anything or not. Having my daughter all to myself for a few days is priceless.

You never know with deer hunting. Could be great even with OK weather. I grew up with a guy that insisted deer didn’t move when it rained. I’m sure he missed a lot of opportunities.

Running about two weeks later than normal here. The weather has been hot and windy. Once the temps started falling, I am getting lots of bucks on camera cruising.

Your timing is perfect, we hunt really close but back towards Vernon and bucks are full out running does. Have a great hunt.
