Just pulled into my neighborhood a really nice 8-point buck crossed the road, jumped a couple fences on to the golf course and disappeared. I bet there were some freaked out golfers. Frisco Lakes, Frisco, TX.

I'm not even in the "country". So many wild animals have adapted to all us goofballs who built on THEIR land.

Likely trying to evade a mountian lion.

A couple years ago my wife had a large buck run across the road in front of her on Parker Road, between Old Denton and Josey in Lewisville. There was a deer hit off Josey just North of Parker Road last year about this time. I see deer all the time at corners of I-35 and Sam Rayburn Tollway. There's a big pond on the SE corner I've seen them at. And several times on the SW corner, on the grounds of Dallas Gun Club. They are around, for sure!
