I haven’t really kept up. What’s the debate here? Some suburbanite who thinks he knows about lions and apparently knows zero about living on land in the country and the horrible events that have occurred when TP&W biologists are invited on ranch land. Golden Cheeked Warbler, Trans Pecos water snakes and a myriad of other species that can’t adapt and are on their way out as nature designed. These and others have stopped farming, clear cutting and made properties unsellable because some biologist sniffed around.

A government agency said so. And this one is heading east. That lion is in south whitesboro heading towards hagerman and wondering why it made the decisions it did. I question it too but it did not expect that outcome lol No range is absolute. As i said, one was spotted in grant co. Oklahoma. Rare, yes, exceedingly.

I see by a few comments how out of touch with reality some people are. Mt lions are nongame animals that can be hunted 24/7/365. Why some clueless people think reporting one on your property or killing one is going to cause issues is beyond stupid

Correct, dispersing males can travel huge distance. There was one hit and killed by a car in Connecticut that was traced back to south Dakota

In Johnson County. What does where you live have to do with it. They are nongame animals state wide Still being vague I see. When you fought life to get yourself on a larger than average piece of ground. You become mean. You'll go to great lengths to protect and hold it. Including not letting a government agency on your land if at all possible. I've seen all I need to see out of you. You're F.O.S. We all know Mountain Lions are non-game animals. The same as coyotes, bobcats, coons, possums, skunks, and armadillos. That is not the point at all, which eludes you. You are reading about it. Some of us live within it every day.

He lives on acreage in the country, and so do I. Again. Where do you live? A bland Johnson County answer. He reeks of Burleson, Joshua or Cleburne city limits. Zero knowledge and experience about inviting a state biologist onto land in the country. That worthless bird I mentioned resulted in family farms being lost. All this equals the state numbers he spoke about in the first 2-3 pages being flawed information. If I or anyone who owns land trapped or called in a lion, the state is the last entity they would ever let know about it. Thus, the entire basis for his argument is not correct because it’s rooted in incorrect information.

Show proof!!! We told you what happened and I used to hunt north of where that cat went. I know that land all the way to the red river. If pilot point or tioga got a hit I would not be surprised.

Google says one was seen in rowlett in 2020. It was killed in Collin county I believe. It was the first confirmed sighting in Dallas county ever.
