Heading to the lease middle of next week for the first time this year! Just curious if anyone has seen any rutting activity in and around Mason or Llano county yet! We are starting to see a few of our shooter show up in daylight the last few days! I’ll be taking my son and daughter on there first hill country hunts hoping we see some good action. Happy hunting folks l!!

As of Monday morning no real action in Mason County. One buck chased a doe halfheartedly for 30 feet and returned to the feeder. She ran off but returned shortly. Next day, one buck was around 8-9 does but didn't chase any. Although the does were skittish all of them kept eating corn.
