We were beyond dry going into this past weekend. We got just 5 1/2" at the ranch just west of Olney. My tank came up 3.5'. Sunday afternoons rain was intense. Almost straight line winds and torrential down pour that dropped almost an inch and half. I just wish it didn't have to come all in one weekend. They're calling for more rain on Thursday and Friday. At least Sat looks to be nice to go out and hunt!

How much did y'all get in your area?

Distance is not the issue, but the winds can make it interesting!

Had rain chances for 4 days. Ended up with 3/10ths about noon today. Sure made me sad we missed out, it just needed to move down another 30 miles or so. Sure dry here and my wheat fields need a rain to come up. This is the first time since 1998 that I didn't have some wheat up at the beginning of deer season. Sure hope and praying I get some later this week.

Our weather station at the ranch house says 3.87”. The rain gauge out at one of the feeders says 2.5”.

Navarro county, we got about an inch and a half over the last few days. Last night, it seemed to come down pretty hard. Was pretty muddy walking to the stand. I'll check the rain guage when I get out of the blind.

Hope to find that out today. South of Bowie neighbors got 3.75 inches. But, I own a high hill where the clouds split. I hope to get there today to check the gauge. I probably got 2.5 inches. Waiting for my wife to get out of bed to go.

On a related note, the App "RainDrop" is very accurate. I've been on site and this app reports accurate rainfall.

Just got back in. 2 inches last night and this morning, so 3.5 inches total.
