I have a light at the yard corn feeder, and it’s been useful in killing a few hogs. The light is pretty bright when it spots movement, but 20% power without movement, and the area behind the feeder doesn’t get lit up much, especially if movement is not detected. I swear I think the hogs have figured this out. I have to come up with countermeasures.

Move the feeder into the yard or go into the bushes with a pistol.

Are you saying the hogs spook when the light goes to full brightness, or the hogs just quit coming to the feeder altogether?

Put up a second light to illuminate behind the feeder.

They apparently have figured out how to eat corn without being illuminated.
Here’s a before:

And here’s another after pic:

I’d get another light, but it would be where the solar panel wouldn’t get light. I’ll give a bit more time and see if they really are that dang smart.

Put a shield or deflector on the back of the feeder so corn or whatever doesn't get thrown into the dark area...
Hang a corn sack on the back, easy peasy.
