Man I wish I could get some rain. Ditto. 'Gotta a couple of little showers while I was in the blind this morning, but it wasn't even measurable. 'Power went out for 3+ hours though. Maybe dust all over the substation.

I have hunted in King county at the Bacon Ranch many years ago. Do you roads turn to super slick and deep mud like up there? Glad you are getting rain, here in East Texas we have burn bans in place but are getting rains now finally.

Had a conversation with a rancher in north Jack county about rain forecasted for opening weekend, he has a lot of family that comes up for it. He said bring on the rain, the land needs it more than people need to hunt. Even though I am not a land owner, I agree Also another friends dad that has property in south Jack county said his ponds are almost dried up.
Well judging from the weather radar yesterday, at least N Jack county got a good soaking.

Congrats on the rain. I hope to make it to my place in the next couple of days. Neighbors got 3.75 inches this week but I always get about 3/4 of what they get. I own a hill/ mountain where the clouds always split and go around. Guy about 300 yards downhill gets about 30% more than I do.

Neighbor got 6 inches and I got 3.5. I’ll take it but expect I still need a lot more.
