Well….yes, I was. Either I have too many or none, and right now I’m edging toward too many. But, I now have targets of opportunity, so that’s good. The hogs that are coming to the yard feeder are out of sync with my urination timing. So, this afternoon I threw corn everywhere, so they’ll be focused on the corn for longer, which will improve my chances of seeing them as I stumble to the bathroom.

Depends on the pig size mostly, but 10 is a decent guess. Maybe more, but not less. I’ll also give away a few, and the rest go to feed the buzzards.

Do you climb that ladder with a bag of corn? Get you another Lamco. I'm remembering a picture of your other feeder and it"s a Lamco isn't it? I had a feeder I had to climb a ladder on. Dang near killed myself trying to get protein up to it.

Jetdad, I used to climb the ladder with the 50# bags, but when I had shoulder surgery, I had to rethink. Now I use the tractor and bucket, which will get the bags as high as the top of the drum. Much easier, and I wonder why it took so long to figure that out.
Any feeders I buy from now on will be those Lamco Low and Throw.

The trap is baited and set. Cherry jello powder was put on the apple flavored corn. Now we wait…
