Friday. Buy ice on the way in Friday, especially if you hunt around Junction, or go through there on the way. The Land of Living Waters (where ambition goes to die) always runs out of ice on opening weekend. I seriously doubt it. I'd buy at HEB Fair Oaks or the QT in Comfort.

will be coming across hwy 29 thru Llano & Mason, then 377 to Junction ... will stop at Llano or Maso ... thanks for the heads up!

In all fairness, the Pilot may actually try to keep ice stocked, but that place is usually a madhouse to get in and out of.
