Last weekend of bow season before the militia fires it up next weekend.

Been seeing good numbers of deer; few too many does and some decent bucks.

This one got my attention but I’m looking for a different buck, although makes he the cut. He’s greenlit for my kids but when my son asked why I didn’t shoot him and I answered “ because I saw two bigger ones” he is probably gonna hold off. Guy has way more patience than I did when I was 17



This one will be a nice one in a few years.



This buck is on the list. Gonna let my son’s friend have a crack at him next weekend. He’s fairly regular and a pretty stout dude


This guy is a turd and also on the list for my son’s friend. He has a bad attitude and acts like he’s the man until a older buck shows up



On the fence about this one. He’s either a 4 year old or a 6 and I can’t tell. He’s a regular too. We will lay off him unless my son in college wants to come down to hunt. This would be his biggest buck, poor kid isn’t the best shot and hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to deer.

Nice. One of my hunters just used his new Samsung phone today for video out here. He got it just to video deer so his phone is freed up. He said it has way better pics/video than iPhone. Surprises me.

Great pics. Based on the two pics I would think that deer is 5 or 6. I'f he's shot, I'd be interested in hearing his actual age. I try to judge deer but I seldom get to hear if I'm right or not. His face width and his shoulders say he's closer to 6. But I don't see a swayed back I would think a 6 year old would have. Speculation on my part.

Lots of good deer. I would be happy to take any of them.

At this point I think possessing a weapon and becoming self-sufficient enough to make meat will put you on the naughty list. Forum membership, alone 🤣
