As the sun came up this morning I noticed a little birds nest built right outside the door opening of my brush blind. First pic you can see it in the lower left corner.

Look like quail eggs.

Carolina wren, perhaps?

Didn’t really notice anything out of the ordinary. These stands are nothing more than brush piles with a hollow core for me to climb inside so there are always birds coming in and out even with me inside. No birds that were overly concerned with me being there. I would say they were old eggs but they can’t be that old because one of our giant lizards would have found them by now.
