Reticle is terrible but price is right I wouldn't say "terrible". But my design would be far better.

Reticle is terrible but price is right MilDot would not be my first choice, for sure. I like the Burris SCR reticle a lot more (or something similar). But I am anti-Christmas tree for hunting, I don't want anything that involved.

Dang, this looks solid. Would love to see a test/write up on it.
We need more lightweight MIL FFP scopes.

Count me in the interested bunch. Love the weight for the features. Please let us know if anyone has experience with this. I am currently in the market for something to put on my bolt action grendel and this seems perfect but never heard of GPO.

That's an awesome reticle for hunting. I might have to get one for my next build. Thanks for sharing!

I got one 3 weeks ago. Ran it out to 600 yards at JG’s verifying dope on my 6.5 SAUM. There’s not much not to like about it. If I had one thing to pick on my limited use so far would be to drop the illumination or offer a non-illuminated model to make it lighter.

[quote=IA1865]Check out the Maven RS1.2 https://mavenbuilt.com/products/rs1-2-2-5-15x44-ffp 6 Oz heavier but much better reticle and proven reliability. [/qoute] I got one 3 weeks ago. Shut your pie whole, worst scope ever(unless you want the MOA reticle)

It;s a nice scope, but compared to the GPO, there's nothing compact about it.

Wish they hadn't stopped making the Bushnell LHRS 3-12x42, I have on that has been used for years, stupidly sold the 2nd one I had. I liked it better than the 4.5- X they came out with later. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one used

Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one used I agree. I got one for my cousin's Tikka .308. It's his first FFP Mil/Mil scope. He loves it! I've tried to buy it off him, and he wisely turns me down every time.

me and a buddy said in a blind past dark with the LHRS and a Nightforce 2.5-10x42 and I had to admit the LHRS had better low light (slight) performance. It sits now on top of my Tikka 7mag

I thought they did for a short while, but it was a limited production run or something...maybe I am making that up?
I will occasionally see one used in the 800-1000 range on rokslide. It always tempts me, but then again, a lot of hunting gear tempts me.
I have one on my .300wsm, and it is a great scope.

They have them again right now, $959. https://www.gaprecision.net/shop/ga...rhs-2-4-5-18-x-44-g2h-reticle-lrhs2.html

Do you have to order direct to buy a Maven RS1.2 - 2.5-15x44 FFP? All this talk has got me wanting to buy a new scope. This one seems to fit the bill.

Yes unless you order through guidefitter if you are vet/first responder I just ordered two more as the MIL SHL is back in stock as of two hours ago It’s hard to beat from a hunting specs standpoint point

I don't even see Maven as a brand on Guidefitter.com Is that the place you were referring too? I'm a retired from the Army. Never really used that status to get deals, so not even sure how to do it.
