I was a non-believer until a friend that's like a brother to me said that that's what they use on their place. 'Couldn't believe how many were piled in that little box this morning, and there was one fairly stout boar.

Now to find a welder that'll make me some where the bottom is pinned and you can flip the top off and over. Crawling in, with my back, is a PITA. But I really love how it keeps the deer out. No soup for you! Corn, Pig Oil, Anise, and... powdered peanut butter. ('Learned about powdered peanut butter on this site. up) 'Don't know which is the real draw, but I'm afraid to mess with the recipe. No more souring in a barrel for me! banana2

I'm always learning from "Professor Pig." I'm here to learn.

Supposed to let them out before you shoot them.

Similar to my trap. Works pretty good. I’d be trapping them tonight if it wasn’t for my messed up finger. I don’t feel comfortable with skinning pigs right now.

To get them out of the trap, I got tired of having to crawl into the trap, so I crafted a hog dragging pole. I used a hoe handle, put an eye bolt on one end and rigged a plastic covered and substantial wire, made a loop through the eye bolt and secured one end of the wire. When I shoot the hogs, I try to get them facing away from the gate. Then reach in with pole, put the loop around a leg and drag them out. Had to get help though with that 250 pounder.

100% of mine are hauled to several "circles of death" on the place, their guts cut open, and the buzzards become my personal friends. up

I’d shoot em or trap em and prep em for the freezer, but with this open wound on my finger, I’ve decided it’s best to heal up first. But man, I have the pigs on the place now. After our little RV trip the next few days, I plan to shoot and drag a few of them.
